Office Depot ranks R.I. top state for median income of self-employed individuals

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island was ranked the No. 1 state where small-business owners make the most money in Office Depot’s recently released “Small Business Across America” report. Rhode Island’s $65,580 median income of self-employed individuals led the nation, ahead of Massachusetts and Connecticut at $65,084 and $63,883, respectively.
