Prevot named CEO of Nelipak

CRANSTON – Roger Prevot has been named CEO of Nelipak Corp. Inc., the company recently announced. He’s succeeding Michael Kelly, who is retiring.

Prevot has been chairman of the company’s board of directors since the acquisition of Nelipak by the equity firm Kohlberg & Company LLC. Prevot is a partner at Kohlberg and was formerly the CEO and president of Graham Packaging, and CEO of Packaging Dynamics Corp.

Kelly served as CEO for five years. He is expected to retire at the end of the month.

The company credited Kelly’s oversight of fostering growth organically, as well as via acquisition to mature the company.

Prevot outlined his goals for the company in the announcement of his appointment as CEO, saying, “I look forward to leading Nelipak into the next phase of its development as the legacy Nelipak business is integrated with the former European Healthcare Packaging business of Bemis Corp.
