PROVIDENCE – The Providence Flea Market will begin its fifth summer season on June 4, featuring 70 local vintage vendors, artisans, makers and food purveyors.
“For vendors who are small- and micro-businesses, the Flea serves as an incubator/launchpad to put their product or service out there,” Flea founder and market manager Maria Tocco said in a statement.
The Flea is located on the Providence River Greenway, across from 345 South Water St., and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday through Sept. 10. The Providence Flea is a juried market with an application process and is now accepting vendor applications at providenceflea.com.
The nonprofit Providence Community Library, with its mobile book library, and local musicians Elly & the Bear were also scheduled to be there June 4.
