Providence Public Library plays host to 2018 Book of Lists premier event

PROVIDENCE – Nearly 350 of Rhode Island’s business leaders attended Providence Business News’ premier networking event, the Book of Lists party, at the Providence Public Library on Wednesday night.

Attendees were given a copy of the 29th edition of PBN’s Book of Lists, a compilation of the region’s top businesses and organizations that was unveiled at the party. All those who attended received a copy. Subscribers also will receive their book with this week’s issue of PBN.

There are 106 lists in the Book of Lists, featuring thousands of local companies, organizations and people. The book is a snapshot of Rhode Island’s economy, and a closer look at the Ocean State’s industry leaders and most influential people in the business community.

The cover of this year’s Book of Lists is photograph of one of the Block Island Wind Farm’s turbines, part of the nation’s first operating offshore wind energy project.

This was the fifth year the event was held at the library. Russell Morin Catering & Events provided food, while Frey Florists supplied flowers.
