PROVIDENCE – The Providence VA Medical Center and the Veterans Benefits Administration’s Providence Regional Office are hosting a joint veterans town hall meeting from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Providence VA Medical Center at 830 Chalkstone Ave.
Leadership from the PVAMC, Providence VBA and the R.I. Office of Veterans Affairs will provide updates and respond to questions from the audience during the meeting, which will be in the fifth-floor auditorium of the main hospital building.
“Veterans, patients, families and community partners are all invited,” said Susan MacKenzie, director of the Providence VA Medical Center. “Come learn about what’s new in veterans’ health care and benefits, ask questions and tell us how we’re doing.”
