Provider Insurance revamps Web site

NEEDHAM, Mass. – Provider Insurance Group Inc., a Massachusetts insurance agency that has offices in Woonsocket, has launched a revamped Web site, making it easier for customers and clients to access information relevant to their insurance needs.
“Our Web site now offers compelling and contemporary technology to boost interactivity,” said Ruby Chan, director of Internet marketing. “With this redesign, we now have a real person that walks onto users’ screens and talks directly to them about what they want to know and guides them through the Web site.”
The company said the site is divided into two portals: an improved 24/7 Web-based customer service portal and another section that has new Internet features such as improved live telephone after-hours service, the ability for policyholders to view their policy or make change requests, printable insurance forms, and claims submission and notification.
Other features include customized flash e-mail marketing pieces, search engine optimization, a virtual tour guide and a virtual insurance office designed to increase customer loyalty, reinforce the brand and increase customer contacts.
“We have all worked very hard on bringing this project to fruition, and we are very excited to see the positive effects it will have on our customers and prospects,” said William Darcey, Provider’s chief operating officer.
