JOHNSTON – Toxin-free health, beauty and household product manufacturer Pure Haven LLC recently donated more than $20,000 in products to Turning Point, an Ohio-based organization that assists those who have experienced domestic violence.
The donation was sparked by Giving Tuesday, which initially prompted Pure Haven to make a $10,000 donation. The Johnston-based manufacturer later doubled this donation after calling on contributions from independent consultants.

Turning Point provides free support services and resources, including shelter, for those facing domestic violence.
“Turning Point is an organization I’ve personally supported for years,” Miranda Inglis, CEO of Pure Haven, said in a statement. “I believe in their message and mission, and I’m pleased that Pure Haven is supporting these victims of domestic violence as they transition out of scary situations and into safe surroundings.”
Turning Point CEO and President Amber Scott said the donation will help create a safe, uplifting environment for those served.
“Imagine being away from everything you call home while celebrating the holidays,” Scott said in a statement. “This is the experience of families in shelter. For us, it is critically important to create an environment that is a home away from home, full of love, good times, and gifts. Partnerships like the one we share with Pure Haven are what make that possible!”
