R.I., Mass. gas prices stable as markets brace for U.S. blockade of Strait of Hormuz

PROVIDENCE – The average weekly price of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline in Rhode Island dropped 1 cent to $3.98 per gallon, AAA Northeast said Monday.  That price is 14 cents lower than the national average but $1.04 more than it was in Rhode Island a year ago.  Northeast gas prices remain vulnerable to volatility as petroleum markets
