R.I. monthly unemployment dips to 4.5% in September

CRANSTON – Rhode Island’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in September was 4.5%, down slightly from 4.6% in August, the R.I. Department of Labor and Training said Tuesday.  The U.S. unemployment rate was 4.4% in September, up from 4.3% the previous month, according to the DLT.  The Rhode Island jobless rate was 4.5% in September 2024,
