PAWTUCKET – Rand-Whitney Container LLC celebrated the expansion of its facility on July 27, which added 65,000 square feet to its packaging plant at 455 Narragansett Park.

Before the opening, the company had leased off-site space from another business for storage, which involved more trucking and lost time, according to a news release.

The enlarged, 150,000-square-foot facility eliminates the need for off-site storage and allows the company to have all production materials in a single location. The company is owned by Kraft Group CEO Robert Kraft and President Jonathan Kraft.

The facility, designed and built by Manchester, N.H.-based Procon, also includes a new conference room, drivers’ office and employee cafeteria.
