What support programs has your company offered employees to help cope with the COVID-19 pandemic? We are very fortunate that much of our day-to-day operation lends itself to telework, and we’ve provided employees with supplemental internet access, and in many cases brand-new desktop or laptop computers and phones to work from home. We’ve also adapted paid-leave policies as needed, and have been as flexible as possible with our team members who are balancing caregiving and work.

How would you describe the culture of your workplace? Our culture is service-oriented and mission-driven and performance-focused. We understand the responsibility we have to meet the needs of all Rhode Islanders – and our team works tirelessly at a very high level to do just that.

What role do diversity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? Our goal is for the team to reflect the entire community we serve, with an eye toward building trusting relationships across the diverse cross-section of people, institutions, organizations and sectors we interact with.
