Rhode Island Medical Imaging (RIMI) is proud to announce the promotion of two of its employees. JoAnn Barbato and Siobhain Sullivan have been promoted to co-Executive Director.
JoAnn Barbato has been promoted to Executive Director, Patient Financial Services, Billing and Compliance. She had been Associate Executive Director, Patient Financial Services.

Learn MoreBarbato has been with RIMI for 16 years and in healthcare management for more than 35 years. Her experience spans compliance, contract management and negotiations, credentialing and revenue cycle management.
Barbato has an Associate’s degree in Healthcare Management from the School of Medical Secretarial Sciences and Healthcare Management. Barbato lives in Warwick with her partner, Joseph Mollica and her son, Joseph Barbato.
Siobhain Sullivan has been promoted Executive Director, Clinical Services. Most recently she had been RIMI’s Director, Clinical Services and has been with the company in various roles for the past nine years.
Sullivan oversees all 12 of RIMI’s clinical sites including all imaging services, bone densitometry, CT scans, mammography, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray. Before joining RIMI she was a MRI Technologist at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, NY; a MRI, CT and Radiology Technologist at Newport Hospital and a Radiology Technologist and Senior Airman for the US Air Force.
Sullivan has a Master of Business Administration degree from Salve Regina University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology from the Community College of the US Air Force.
Sullivan is the board of directors secretary for the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, Pawtucket. She lives in Cranston with her husband, Andrew Sullivan.
