What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? The biggest challenge is an “unsustainable” health care system of rising costs, workforce shortages and burnout, an aging and unhealthy population, and unabated negative environmental impacts with the potential to disrupt supply chains and exacerbate existing public health challenges. My role is multifaceted: navigate increasingly complex regulations, partner with health systems on tackling environmental and supply chain challenges, and support the responsible adoption of continuous technology transformation that includes sustainable product design, artificial intelligence integration and robotics applications.
