SBANE Presents Steps to Guard Against Malware, Computer Viruses & Data Theft

WALTHAM, MA – March 31, 2014

 

The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) is hosting their monthly Rhode Island Breakfast Series program on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 entitled Cyber Security and Your Business: Affordable Steps to Guard Against Malware, Computer Viruses & Data Theftwith CAI Managed IT Executive Vice President, Frank Motta. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Warwick, RI from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

 

Data theft is a serious concern for businesses, as keeping cyber property secure and confidential is essential in preventing financial and intellectual losses. The Federal Trade Commission estimates an annual loss, to businesses, of $50 billion due to data theft and identity theft. EVP Frank Motta, CAI Managed IT, will speak about affordable and effective measures to secure the protection of valuable data from malware and computer viruses, as well as how to stay ahead of the constantly changing cyber threats.
