EAST GREENWICH – A two-story home constructed in 1850 on the shore of Greenwich Cove recently sold for $1.4 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd., which represented the seller in the deal.
The shingle-style colonial at 100 Rocky Hollow Road in the historic Hill and Harbour district of East Greenwich contains three bedrooms, one full bathroom and one half-bathroom.
The home features a finished 350-square-foot basement, and the 0.33-acre property also features a 14-slip dock, a 250-square-foot mahogany porch, a 320-square-foot wooden deck and a 400-square-foot garage, according to the real estate firm and property records.
The land and the home, which also features a gambrel roof, were most recently valued in fiscal 2022 by East Greenwich assessors to be worth $606,700, according to the town’s online property tax evaluation database.
The property was sold by John Boehnert and it was bought by Brendan McLaughlin, owner of the neighboring 110 Rocky Hollow Road, according to a copy of the warranty deed, a public record documenting the home sale.
