PROVIDENCE – Senate President Dominick J. Ruggerio, D-Providence, has re-established the Senate Task Force on Fisheries, to be chaired by Sen. V. Susan Sosnowski, D-South Kingstown. The reauthorization of the federal Magnuson-Stevens Fisheries Conservation and Management Act in January 2007 has made fisheries policy and regulation more complex, according to a General Assembly news release.
