State, RIPTA need to step up on transit

  1. It may not be widely known, but RIPTA and the Raimondo Administration have gotten underway with a first-of-its-kind (for RI) comprehensive and statewide Transit Master Plan.

    Every new project or service improvement should be approached as an investment in strengthening the overall transit “system” that gets the most Rhode Islanders where they need to go when they need to get there.
