What have been the most significant changes in your industry in the last five years? One of the most significant changes has been the introduction of remote working, which has added significant challenges to properly training new employees. Combined with the always changing and increasing accounting regulations requiring additional auditing procedures and the reduction of college students graduating with accounting degrees, it has become extremely important to have strong communication skills and to work efficiently and effectively.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Being a multitasking, working soccer mom.

What moment changed your life more than any other? Without a doubt the day my son, Callaway, was born. He is the sweetest and kindest little boy that I have ever met, and it is amazing to watch him grow up and become his own person.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? My strong work ethic. I prioritize getting the work done and work strategically to assist my clients in achieving their goals. I also don’t just see what I do as a job; it’s part of my life and that shows in my dedication to the clients that I service throughout the year.

What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? I always excelled at math and accounting in high school, so it was a natural major for me in college. I gravitated toward auditing over tax because I love working close with my clients.
