PROVIDENCE – Families own 93.5% of farms in Rhode Island, according to a new study by Farm Flavor.  Researchers at the digital agricultural platform in Tennessee analyzed the most recent Census of Agriculture from 2022 to identify the states with the most family-owned farms.   Researchers calculated the share of farms in each state that meet the USDA’s definition
