Jeff Codman, the owner and pilot, bought the new helicopter in Torrance, CA and made the more than 3000 mile trek cross country, with his 11-year-old son, to Middletown. The pair was able to experience notable sights, such as the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, and the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, together. The trip took the father and son duo a total of five days to complete.
Now, with the new helicopter in full use, Bird’s Eye View is conducting tours over Newport and the surrounding area. The bright red R44 can be seen flying over Newport regularly as people take to the skies to see a new and incredible view of the city. Tours range from aerial views of the mansions in Newport to the lighthouses, bays, and island in its entirety.
If you have already taken a tour over the mansions, do not count yourself out of this amazing experience. The company is now offering new tours over Bristol and Westport, as well as many other services. From aerial photography of boat races, real estate, or weddings, to golf ball drops and custom tours, the services you want, that require a view from above, can be done.
