The Joint Chiropractic opens first Rhode Island franchise

WARWICK – The Joint Chiropractic, an Arizona-based chiropractic care franchise, has opened its first Rhode Island location.

Situated at 300 Quaker Lane, the franchise’s new facility held its grand opening on July 9, according to the location’s Facebook post of the same day.

With nearly 1,000 locations nationwide, The Joint operates on a walk-in model, allowing patients to pay per visit or purchase package deals, according to the company’s website.

The organization’s Warick business expands The Joint’s footprint to 44 states, the company said in a July 1 announcement.

“As consumers increasingly seek healthcare solutions that fit their lifestyles, our convenient, no-appointment model continues to resonate in communities nationwide,” Sanjiv Razdan, The Joint’s CEO and president, said in the release.

The Quaker Lane franchise is owned by Sarah and Yosef Perfido, who also operate a location in Groton, Conn.

Founded in Tucson in 1999, The Joint transitioned to a franchise model in 2010. Today, the business operates more than 950 locations with 14 million patient visits per year.
