
WARWICK – Thrive Behavioral Health’s annual fundraiser netted more than $27,000 in support of its behavioral health programs and services.
Forced into hiatus for three years by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event returned on May 4 to The Gamm Theatre, where The Gamm Theatre Players performed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for attendees.

“The donations raised tonight will fund the programs and services that provide a safety net for the 4,000 adults, children and families throughout Kent County who depend on Thrive Behavioral Health for services related to mental health, substance use, trauma and homelessness,” said Dan Kubas-Meyer, Thrive CEO and president.
Raffle ticket sales brought in $1,500 during the event, said Jennifer Cleland, development director at Thrive.
“We are especially grateful to the sponsors of the event, as well as the many local businesses who donated to our fabulous raffle baskets,” Cleland said.
