PROVIDENCE – Thundermist Health Center raised more than $60,000 to benefit the patients and programs supported by the nonprofit community health center during its annual fundraising event Moonlight at the Dunes at the Dunes Club in Narragansett June 8.

Funding for Thundermist was raised through sponsorship, a silent auction, raffle ticket sales and sand dollar gift certificate purchases.

The event was an opportunity for nearly 250 business leaders and community members to join together for a night of fun and philanthropy in support of Thundermist Health Center.

“It is extraordinary to see the community come together to benefit our organization,” said Jeanne LaChance, president and CEO. “Thank you for championing Thundermist and its mission. The funds raised at Moonlight at the Dunes will allow us to provide patients with innovative programs and services to advance their health.”
