Traction unveils free small-team version</br> of its TeamPage wiki

PROVIDENCE – Traction Software today announced free downloads of TeamPage5, a five-user, five-projects version of its TeamPage collaboration wiki.

Traction TeamPage – a blog and wiki software package for secure Web-based collaboration – was honored as Best Enterprise Wiki in InfoWorld’s 2007 Technology of the Year awards. The journal’s Jan. 5 review praised its “superior ease of use and query ability,” ease of installation, publication and navigation, and out-of-the-box suitability.

TeamPage5 offers the same functions, but is limited to five login accounts and five project spaces (blog/wiki spaces), the company said. Like the original, it can be used on public or internal Web sites, and each “project” can be configured to allow anyone to read, comment or subscribe to RSS feeds.

“This offer is a great way for small companies and large enterprises alike to start using the power of TeamPage with zero commitment or expense,” said Greg Lloyd, president and co-founder of Traction Software. “The TeamPage5 configuration is a great product for personal or small-team use – often the seed and necessary starting point for a larger deployment.”
