MINNEAPOLIS – UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) today said it expects to be current in its filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by March 15. Several 2006 reports were delayed by the company’s stock-option accounting probe.
UnitedHealth today requested an automatic two-week extension of the March 1 deadline for filing its Form 10-K for 2006.

Also pending are its Form 10-Q filings for the second and third quarters of 2006, and its amended Form 10-Q filing for the first quarter of 2006.
Once the company is current in its filings, it said it expects to resume its share repurchase program.
