URI named among top party schools in nation

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The University of Rhode Island, Kingston has been ranked as No. 16 in the top 20 party schools in the nation for 2018 by the Princeton Review.

The University of Maine and the University of Vermont were the only other New England schools included on the list, coming in at No. 10 and  No. 15 respectively.

The rankings were compiled based on surveys from more than 137,000 students attending the 382 U.S. colleges profiled in the review’s annual study of the nation’s top colleges.

Tulane University in New Orleans, LA was ranked as the No. 1 party school in the nation followed immediately by West Virginia University in Morganton, WV and Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
