EAST GREENWICH – EaglePicher Technologies LLC is laying off 38 people at its facility at 2000 South County Trail, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the R.I. Department of Labor and Training on Jan 13. The Missouri-based battery maker currently employs 90 people in East Greenwich, according to Providence Business News’ 2026 Book of Lists.
