“Washington Trust is thrilled to work with new client SoNo Pearl,” said Julia Anne M. Slom, senior vice president and team leader of the bank’s commercial real estate group.
The building was built in the downtown of Norwalk, a neighborhood known as “South Norwalk,” or “SoNo,” according to a press release. The financing deal follows a trend of commercial real estate deals Washington Trust has made in Connecticut.
“The units and amenities are beautifully designed to fit into this vibrant market, and we are so pleased to be part of this endeavor,” Slom added.
Washington Trust, a subsidiary of Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. in Westerly, is the second-largest Rhode Island-based bank.
