What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? Maintaining civility between practitioners will present a larger and larger challenge as time goes on. The increasingly virtual world that we live in, while helpful in many ways, can take some of the collegiality out of the practice of law. Personally, I always strive to treat opposing counsel with the same courtesy and professionalism that I would show to my colleagues at my firm.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I’d like to be building a family, working as a partner at Robinson & Cole, mentoring junior attorneys, staying active and enjoying my life to the fullest.
What was your first job? My first job was at Newport Creamery in Garden City in Cranston when I was 16.
What moment changed your life more than any other? I tore my Achilles tendon back in 2017. In an instant, I went from being active and competing in sports that I loved at a high level to barely being able to walk. The experience was both humbling and provided a lesson in resiliency.
