2 R.I. hospitals earn 2022 Healthgrades honors

PROVIDENCE – Two hospitals in Rhode Island have earned 2022 honors from Healthgrades, an online health care resource that releases yearly hospital ratings.

The Miriam Hospital, owned by Lifespan Corp, the state’s largest health care network, ranks among the country’s 100 best hospitals this year. Kent County Memorial Hospital, owned by Care New England Health System, is among the top 250 hospitals nationwide, according to Healthgrades.

The Miriam also received an America’s 100 Best Gastrointestinal Care award, along with awards for gastrointestinal surgery and pulmonary care.

Kent earned awards for excellence in critical care and stroke care.
