38 Studios game wins industry awards

PROVIDENCE – 38 Studios LLC won two awards and was nominated for seven others for its first game, “Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.”
38 Studios presented “Reckoning” at the Electronic Entertainment Expo – or E3 – in Los Angeles in May.
As of June 20, the role-playing game had won GameTrailers’ Best New IP award and RipTen’s Best RPG of E3 Award.
“Reckoning” has been nominated for best RPG awards by Game Informer, GameSpy, G4TV, IGN, Game Critics Awards and 1Up.com as well as for GamesRadar’s Most Valuable Game award.
Once released in 2012, “Reckoning” will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
