
LINCOLN – Stockholders of Dover Downs Gaming & Entertainment Inc. voted to approve a merger with Twin River Worldwide Holdings Inc. Wednesday, expecting the merger to close Thursday, March 28.
Dover Downs, which owns and operates Dover Downs Hotel & Casino and Dover Downs Raceway will become a subsidiary of Twin River.

Twin River will also become a public company with its common stock set to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “TRWH” and scheduled to begin trading on March 29.
The companies entered into an agreement to merge in July.
In January, Twin River announced that it had entered into another agreement to acquire three casinos in Colorado from Affinity Gaming.
Twin River reported $71.4 million in profit in 2018.
