Ocean State Job Lot chooses Reflexis, StoreWalk as tools for growth

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Ocean State Job Lot has chosen Reflexis Real-Time Task Manager and its StoreWalk software to streamline its operations.

The closeout-price store, with 137 retail locations in New England, New York and New Jersey, aims to increase its transparency and improve companywide communication, according to an OSJL news release.

“Our record-breaking, year-over-year growth mandated that we upgrade our infrastructure to a platform that will foster seamless communication between corporate, field and store leaders,” said Paul Cox, director of store operations for Ocean State Job Lot, ultimately making for a better customer experience. “We ultimately chose Reflexis due to … the ability to add modules on as we continue to grow. With our plans this year to grow store count by over 10%, timing couldn’t be better.”

Ocean State Job Lot has more than 5,000 employees and is now in its 41st year. Its annual sales exceed $675 million.

The company opened a new store in Dartmouth on May 4.
