PROVIDENCE – GM2 Associates Inc. has opened a Rhode Island office at The Foundry corporate office center, at 235 Promenade St.
The office, in the Foundry’s Brown Building, is the fifth location for GM2, a full-service engineering company based in Glastonbury, Conn. The Providence office will be led by Frederick J. Vincent.

Vincent is the former deputy director of the R.I. Department of Transportation. During his tenure, according to a news release, he was involved in projects such as the Capital Center and River Relocation effort, the creation of the Newport Gateway Visitors Center and the terminal expansion at T.F. Green Airport.
