First Eldred Farm house completed

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – P. Schurman Contractors has finished the first of eight planned modular houses in the new Eldred Farm Campus Cottages development off of Old North Road.
The first house is intended to serve as a model for potential Eldred Farm buyers, who can customize the size of the building they want fabricated.
With its proximity to the University of Rhode Island, Eldred Farms is being targeted toward retired faculty, staff and alumni who want to be close to public transportation and the campus.
The development also includes the existing Eldred Farm homestead, which is also for sale.
