Jean Mantaian has been named business-development representative at The Copy Center at Crossroads Rhode Island. Mantaian has more than 20 years of experience in the print industry. She was previously employed at a local printer handling customer accounts of various sizes. Among various responsibilities, she will continue promoting the mission of The Copy Center at Crossroads.

PBN: What are you looking forward to in your new position?
MANTAIAN: Although I have been in print sales for the majority of my career, I have never been part of an organization like Crossroads Rhode Island. My position is to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales for The Copy Center at Crossroads. It is very exciting to sell print material while being part of such a well-known and respected nonprofit organization. The Copy Center at Crossroads not only offers quality products and service at a competitive price, but also gives me such a rewarding feeling by helping people – both my customers and the Crossroads community.

PBN: What new projects or programs will you implement and oversee?
MANTAIAN: The Copy Center at Crossroads is a full-service graphic design and print business. I will be focused on demonstrating how we can help grow a customer’s business by utilizing print material to get their message out. We print using both digital and offset methods, so the variety of jobs we can support is endless. It is really about our customers’ results – to assist with achieving their mission while meeting our social mission as well.

PBN: How does the copy center extend the mission of Crossroads?
MANTAIAN: The Copy Center at Crossroads partners with the Vocational Services Department at Crossroads Rhode Island. We run a customer service internship, which helps our homeless and disconnected clients gain marketable skills, so they can obtain productive employment at a more sustainable wage – an important step on their journey toward self-sufficiency. It is wonderful to be part of this extensive training program. Many of these clients may have not had the same opportunities that I have been so fortunate to have. Knowing that I can give back is a good feeling. This training allows our clients to enter the work force or in some cases, re-enter the work force with a new level of confidence needed to help them pave the road to success. &#8226
