John Campanini, the council’s technical advisor called Henderson’s work fascinating, adding, “The Chinese have their own way of doing things when it comes to urban forestry which, while different from how we do things, is technically sound and effective.”

Providence City Forester Doug Still will also offer an update on tree-related initiatives, including Trees 2020, a push to plant 40,000 trees in the capital city.
