RI.gov adds Spanish and ‘Moving to R.I.’ portals

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island’s official Web site (www.RI.gov) has added Spanish-language and “Moving to Rhode Island” mini-portals to make it easier for the state’s growing Hispanic community and those relocating to this state to find important information.
The new “Información en Español” mini-portal includes a list of government information and services in Spanish, including education, immigration, health and transportation resources. These links are separated into state and federal resource categories.
The “Moving to Rhode Island” mini-portal offers information such as how to obtain a Rhode Island driver’s license, vehicle registration transfers, home-buying and rental assistance, health care resources and other useful state statistics and data.
