WARWICK – T.F. Green Airport shut down early this morning because of storm damage from what forecasters were calling the worst nor’easter in years.
The airport was closed at 4 a.m., when all flights in and out of Green were cancelled, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Green was expected to reopen at 11 a.m.
Other airports across the Northeast – including Logan Airport in Boston and La Guardia in New York – also were experiencing storm-related delays, the FAA said.
