A new chapter for city landmark

One past owner of the former Providence Journal building on the corner of Westminster and Eddy streets had aluminum covering installed over the building’s Flemish Baroque architecture. In the mid-1980s, architects were hired to take off the siding, and the project won national recognition. Now, the current owner, Massachusetts’ Dr. Pierre de Bourgknecht, has the building up for sale.
