The new Roger Williams Park Botanical Center’s conservatory, billed as the largest indoor public display garden in New England, is scheduled to open on March 2. Last week, Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline led a tour of the conservatory, where exotic palm trees reach toward the 40-foot glass ceiling, surrounded by tropical flowers such as these birds of paradise.
