SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The American Civil Liberties of Rhode Island Inc. on Tuesday hailed the Town Council’s decision to remove the six Flock Safety automated license plate readers in the municipality. The council voted unanimously Monday to end a contract with the company, asking the town to remove the devices immediately, according to a report
