WARWICK – Neil S. Gaer has been named the executive director of outpatient services of AdCare Hospital, the addiction-recovery provider announced Tuesday.
Gaer will oversee the hospital’s outpatient/telehealth services programs in both Warwick and North Dartmouth as well as the provider’s other Massachusetts locations in Worcester, Quincy and Springfield.

Gaer has more 30 years of experience working for and managing behavioral health and social service agencies. He previously was the CEO of Washburn House in Worcester, Mass., and regional vice president of clinical affairs for Phoenix House of Greater New York City and Long Island. In that position, Gare managed 13 nationally accredited programs and provided clinical oversight for 30 nationally accredited programs.
Gaer has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of New Haven and a bachelor’s degree in human services from Springfield College.
