One example is expanded fertility benefits, which were introduced in 2024. Driven by direct employee feedback, CBIZ – which has a Providence office – paid more than $300,000 in fertility-related claims in just the first year, not including medication costs, which are also covered. In 2025, the company is raising coverage limits to ensure even more support.
That’s in addition to other wellness programs such as the WellRight platform, where team members can participate in wellness challenges and get access to stress management tools and virtual workshops. Rhode Island staff members have used those challenges to build sustainable wellness habits, including everything from better sleep to increased focus.
