NEW YORK – Amazon plans to split its second headquarters evenly between two locations rather than picking one city for HQ2, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the matter.

- Shares of JBG Smith Properties, a top office landlord in the Crystal City area of Arlington, Virginia, rose as much as 7.4% on Monday after the Washington Post reported over the weekend that Amazon was in advanced talks about locating HQ2 in the Washington suburb; shares pared gains after the Wall Street Journal report and are currently up 4.1% from Friday’s close.
