Anna’s Kitchen nets 10 awards at spirits competition

BARRINGTON – Anna’s Kitchen LLC, maker of shrubs – apple-cider vinegars combined with organic herbs and fruits to make organic drink mixers, won 10 awards at the PR%F Awards, hosted by Food and Beverage Magazine in June in Las Vegas.

According to the company, more than 500 spirits brands were judged in blind taste-testing by liquor-industry leaders over the two-day event.

Anna’s wins included two Century awards with perfect scores for apple-cider ginger and cranberry-mint flavors, as well as two gold awards and a silver award in the taste tests. For design distinction competitions, the Barrington company owned by Anna Scott took home two silver and three bronze awards.

Anna’s Kitchen launched out of Warren food-business incubator Hope & Main last year.

Last month, the brand won SIP Awards at the International Spirits Competition in seven categories as well.
