Annual Oyster Festival Supports March of Dimes

BRISTOL – The 4th annual Bristol Oyster Festival, in support of the March of Dimes Rhode Island, will be held on Sunday, June 18 at the DeWolf Tavern.

Multiple local varieties of oysters will be available for guests to enjoy. The day’s activities will include live shucking demonstrations, music, a silent auction, face painting and pony rides. The festival, which will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., will include guest lectures from Roger Williams University as well as local oystermen.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the venue prior to June 18 and day of – a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Rhode Island chapter of the March of Dimes. The 2016 festival raised more than $6,000 in support of the organization and drew in more than 800 attendees from across New England.
