  1. We are failing to cultivate our most valuable assets: our children. Parents should be outraged at the way RIDE is continuing to fail to provide their children with an decent education. If I were a parent with school age children (I worked hard so we could afford to send our kids to private schools for grades N -12) I would be demanding that A) heads rolls at RIDE; B) our public schools be converted to Charter Schools ASAP; C) the teachers’ union be disbanded since, apparently, the union must be part of the problem because the union has done nothing to solve the problem.
