EAST GREENWICH – Arpin Group Inc. has announced the promotions of two senior officers, as part of a continuing consolidation of the household-goods mover’s Arpin Van Lines and Arpin International Group.
Bob Sullivan has been named Arpin Group’s senior vice president, commercial. He previously was commercial vice president of the Arpin International Group.
Mark Dearborn has been the Arpin Group’s vice president, quality assurance. He also will continue to serve as general manager of Arpin International Group, Boston, and director of domestic operations for Arpin International Group.
“These promotions are part of our coordinated effort to integrate our domestic and international functions,” said David Arpin, the group’s president and CEO. “We are adapting to a faster-paced market where efficiency and quality control are more important than ever,” he said, “by centralizing processes previously delegated to two different companies.”
Historically, the company’s Arpin Van Lines and Arpin International Group divisions have each maintained separate subdivisions for three types of clients: Commercial, General Services Administration (GSA) and Military. In the new, streamlined structure, each subdivision will be integrated with its counterpart at the sister company. COD customers will continue to work with their respective Arpin franchisees.
Arpin Group Inc. is the holding company for Arpin Van Lines, Arpin International Group, Arpin Moving Systems (Canada), Star Moving Network and Intermodal Credit Corp. More information can be found at www.arpin.com.
