DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., and WEST WARWICK – Arpin Van Lines Inc. will continue to serve as the official mover of the Ladies Professional Golf Association through 2011, the organizations said in a joint announcement.
“We are proud to partner with Arpin Van Lines for an additional three years,” Kathie Vu, vice president of corporate partnerships, said this week in the association’s “News and Notes” online newsletter. “As a valued LPGA sponsor since 1994, Arpin Van Lines enables us to move our business seamlessly around the country and throughout the LPGA Tour schedule so we can provide valuable services to our members.”
The West Warwick-based mover provides transportation to and from most LPGA tourneys in the United States and Canada for both the LPGA Sports Medicine Trailer, “a 48-foot state-of-the-art mobile sports medicine facility that provides rehabilitative and preventive care” for tour members; and the Smuckers LPGA Child Development Center, which “offers a quality learning environment for the members’ children,” the LPGA said, adding: “Both programs are essential to the weekly well-being of players and their families.”
The moving company’s multi-tiered sponsorship agreement also includes online and in-telecast advertising, as well as corporate hospitality at select LPGA season events.
“We’ve chosen to extend our 14-year sponsorship with the LPGA to continue providing valuable transportation services for … two very critical programs for the association,” said David Arpin, president and CEO of parent company Arpin Group Inc. “We are honored to continue our partnership and support the players.”
Arpin Van Lines Inc. – a division of the West Warwick-based Arpin Group Inc., which also includes Arpin International Group, Creative Storage Solutions and Arpin Broadcast Network LLC – has been owned and operated by the Arpin family since its founding in 1900.
